Data Cleaning:

Acer can provide a number of different option when it comes to ensuring data is removed from old assets:

• We can run data cleaning software on-site at the time of asset replacement
  
• We can return the units to a consolidation area - either our own asset processing centre or a customer specified location and hold the units there for bulk data cleaning.
  
• We can provide a destructive service whereby units that can't be cleaned via software are physically destroyed

Our data cleaning software have been approved by government bodies around the world. It writes a series of 0's and 1's across the disk surface to ensure all data is removed and cannot be recovered. Alternatively, if the customer has their own software for this then we can use this.

Disposal and Reuse of Assets:

Acer can take care of the old assets by:

Returning then to your lease company. We can provide the testing and inventory checking required by some lease companies within our asset processing centre.

Preparing them for auction with one of our auction house partners. We can maximise the return you get on old assets and with prior arrangement we could offset the lifecycle project charges with the revenue generated by the sale of old assets.

Re-imaging so that they can be re-used again within your organisation. If you want to re-use assets within your organisation we can provide a redeployment service where we re-image the old unit and ship it out to your specified location.
